For many, every activity that denotes religion is limited to the pious life that resides in a place of worship. The only way many perceive precepts of their religious beliefs should be taught is from the pulpit but CROSSWALK MODELS (CWM), a modelling agency with strict biblical morals and spirituality, dares to make a change in how the gospel is spread to all humanity.
Friday, August 7, 2015, has been scheduled for the second edition of the Christian Community Fashion Festival which has been christened “Fashion Friday” this year. Aimed at establishing a platform that promotes biblical truth in fashion and modelling, as well as grooming the youth and enlightening the world through the incorporation of Biblical Doctrine in fashion and modelling, the event will be promoting the philosophies of practical Christianity, excellence and truth.
The four-hour “FASHION FRIDAY’’ event is expected to be a glamorous and sensational night packed with creativity. The occasion is set to commence at 6 p.m. prompt with a jazz session by the Neo Soul Gospel Band to mark the arrival of guests. Sizzling spoken word and poetry are scheduled to set the tone for the classic outdooring of pure African clothing designs put together by undisputed talents in and across Ghanaian borders. Patrons are also promised exclusive and enchanting performances of urban and soul gospel music,
The annual event, slated to be hosted in the serene and ventilated environment of the Silver Star Towers, located in the Airport City, this year, doubles as a fundraiser in support of the less fortunate individuals in society.
Although hosted by a Christian community, the invitation is being thrown to people with different religious beliefs to join in the festival. It is an event expected to be filled with grace and blessing whilst teaching the world the value of good morals and love for the Supreme Being.
