Four years ago, the journey to what has become Ghana’s finest and ultimate model for a beach jam begun with a long road trip to one of the beautiful coast lines in Ada. The beach jam that blessed night is what I would describe today as a modest beach party. Indeed, the night that birthed Ghana's finest beach event has always been a night to remember for me. With R2bees gracing the maiden edition of Tidal Rave, the memories remain fresh in mind.
Then eyes turned to Kokrobite for the next edition in 2013. The following grew bigger and the night was even fired up at the sight of Stonebwouy and Shatta Wale taking turns to bless the grand stage.2014’s X Edition of the ultimate beach party was a complete turn around for the event, Tidal Rave. It was what I described as “the jam for the people.” Call it whatever you want to call it but it was just flawless. Having Guru, MzVee and Edem perform some of GH’s biggest hits was just beyond icing on the cake.
The year Two Thousand and Fifteen has arrived and another Tidal Rave beckons. Echo will not get this year’s rave wrong and the bar is going to be raised……I BELIEVE……promoting Tidal Rave with the hashtag #DontDareMissTheFourth, is just enough to sell the fact that the bar will surely be raised.What awaits Tidal Rave lovers on Saturday, July 25, 2015 is just a simple statement…. “Everything you had last year will be bigger and mind blowing this year.” If you have followed the trend of progress since the first Tidal Rave, then you should trust when Echo says it’s going to be bigger.
Trying to throw extensive light on what these creative minds have to offer as far as “the colour jam” concept is concerned may see me reduce the standard they look to raise the bar up to. To avoid committing such a sacrilege, the information gathered briefly put says, Echo House is going to do something out of our world with colours. What exactly it is going to be, we all anxiously wait to see it for ourselves. You are assured it will even be a bigger experience because Ghana’s finest award winning DJ, the life of the party, DJ Vyrusky will lead the jam himself. No mediocre thoughts about this because it may just be too much to handle.You have been dared not to miss the unprecedented colour jam and the Hangout Master says don’t dare miss being part of history making in Ghana.
Expect a longer convoy, expect a huge concert, expect a better cabana, expect the greatest gathering of party people but be anxious to experience Ghana’s biggest colour rave.
