Are you prepared to encounter Jesus in a special? Thinking
of the usual altar call done by the pastor from a pulpit? Is your mind wandering
in the world of a pastor speaking tongues and people falling on the ground? Are
you thinking of anointing oil, laying of hands and sale of holy water? You are
obviously in the wrong state of mind if you find yourself saying yes to any of
these questions.
Gospel tunes, coming in the genres of rap music, RnB, dancehall,
reggae and hiplife. That is what it is about. It is an urban gospel concert and
that is what will be happening on Friday, January 30, 2015. Flame records presents
the first of its kind at the Food Court of the Accra Mall. It is called Jesus
and Me.
The command given to the disciples on the day of the Ascension
was crystal clear, (“Go, then, to all the peoples everywhere and make them my
disciples: baptize them in the name of the father, Son and Holy Spirit, and teach
them to obey everything I have commanded you...” Matthew 28:19 – 20). Since
Jesus did not give the exact procedure the spreading of the word should be
done, I am proud of the innovative way Flame Records have chosen to spread the Good
News.
Praise the Lord everywhere, anyhow and at all time. As you
sip on your juice and munch your pizza at the Food Court, brace your soul and
heart for a special moment of encounter with your Creator. It is going to be a
gracious exhibition of talents from when the clock rocks 3:00pm.
Who should be looking out for to bless the name of God on
the mic? It a parade of the best voices and talents, angelic in nature,
soothing to the heart and a blessing to the soul. Kingzkid, Lil Zig, 4TK, RYC,
Regardless and Worship in Motion will all spark precious moments when Paradise will
open its flood gates to pour down blessings on all the earth.
Be present at the Accra Mall to receive a firsthand share of
the graces that will rain on earth of Friday, January 30, 2015.
